Whether you like it or not, the right motivational quotes can inspire you to take action.

The other day I laid in bed looking up at the ceiling… not wanting to get up, procrastinating, lacking motivation. Enter: Motivational quotes.

That day, I didn’t feel like writing the 2,000+ word blog post I was planning to publish today.

It’s normal to experience lapses in motivation, to want to procrastinate instead of doing what’s needed. But at the end of the day, successful bloggers know that you must push past those feelings, and find ways to do what at times seems impossible.

To help reset myself that day, I started reading motivational quotes from the comforts of my bed.

That set in motion the idea to present to you some of the most motivational quotes — that have helped inspire me as a blogger in my most difficult moments.

So are you ready to get off your ass, start a blog, and create your own success?

You can dream about becoming a blogger all you want, but if you don’t get your butt off that couch and start a blog… it’s never going to happen.

You hold all the cards. I can’t force you to do anything you don’t want. You must decide to take action and embark on your next journey.

When I laid in bed that day feeling like a turd, time kept passing by as if I didn’t exist.

The moment I decided to open up my laptop, read motivational quotes, and start writing… this blog post came about.

You cannot become a blogger without first starting a new blog.

Wayne Gretzky is considered the best Hockey player of all-time.

He scored 894 goals in his career which is 91 more than the second-best.

I can’t say enough about Steve Jobs. His Stanford commencement speech inspired me to become a better person in a time which I really need a kick in the butt.

This motivational quote is not part of that speech, but it has stuck with me ever since I came across it.

It’s true, we have nothing to lose… so why not spend the time we have on this earth doing the things we actually love doing?

I laughed my ass off when I came across this motivational quote, and to be honest–I have no idea why.

Don’t try working 24 hour days. It won’t do you or anyone around you any good.

I’m guilty of working 16-20 hour days every now and then. Sometimes I just get in a zone in which time doesn’t seem to exist.

However, doing this too often is not a good idea. Always find time for your friends, family, or other activities that you love doing.

Life can’t always be about work.

Speaking of not working yourself to death… here’s a motivational quote that makes “work time” feel like “play time.”

One of the most beautiful things in life is finding a “job” that you love. Doing so makes everything seems like a playful game.

Whether it’s blogging about money, healthy eating, or travel. Find a niche you are passionate about and figure out a way to monetize it.

I never truly understood the meaning of this quote until I traveled along the border of Haiti and saw little kids running down mountains every time they’d hear an engine running to beg for money.

I wanted to help, but I didn’t have enough to give everybody, so how was I to chose which kids to help when all the others were in the same condition?

I felt powerless for the first time in my life, and it wasn’t because they were poor, it was because I felt like I couldn’t help them.

Long story short, I couldn’t get that experience out of my head and decided that I needed to do something. So I decided to buy school supplies for a poor girl whose parents couldn’t even afford sending her to school.

Truth is, to this day, I have no idea where that little girl ended up. But I can tell you one thing… giving and seeing the happiness it brings to those in need is the most addictive experience I’ve ever had in my short life.

Help others if you have the means. It doesn’t have to involve money, it can be something as simple as visiting an old person at a nursing home.

Those kinds of memories are priceless and will help you understand the true meaning of this motivational quote.

No matter what you’re going through, keep chugging along because there’s always something better on the other side.

This is so true. I have never seen two blogs that are the same.

Find products for your customers and you’ll never go broke.

I believe it’s because he knew he couldn’t hit a home run every time he went up to bat. However, if no pitches were ever thrown to him, he would never have the opportunity to hit a home run.

Take your swings and if you miss, don’t worry because you’re just a few more swings away from hitting a home run.

The more I see this motivational quote, the more I like it.

I don’t believe there are any shortcuts to becoming a successful blogger. However, I do believe having the right knowledge and putting it to use can make the journey much easier.

A lot of bloggers boast about making millions in order to push you into buying their products. Don’t think it’s all glitz and glamour… it takes a lot of hard work to get to the top.

Don’t dwell on your early successes, continue moving forward and building on that success.

Most bloggers don’t make any money and you want to know why?

My sincerest apologies to anyone who has ever used this quote. I looked around and didn’t find this motivational quote anywhere.

Is it even motivational? Heck, I don’t know. All I know is that I hate spam… yes, even the edible kind.

I know it’s tempting trying to squeeze every little penny you can out of things, but do so in a non-spammy way.

Don’t bombard your email subscribers with several emails a day trying to sell them something… you might get a few sales that way, but most likely you’re going to lose tons of subscribers.

Provide your email subscribers with valuable information when you actually have something valuable for them, not every time you want to sell them something.
